I spent ages in the dining room then finally got moved to Bananas and eventually the Cowshed, we still really miss it and everyone that we met there, we will never forget those early morning milkings or my favourite cow Sue (number 277 if I remember rightly!)!!! Hi to anyone else that was there at the same time and remembers us!! #16

Well where do I start lol, well I was at Tel katzir for a couple of years in the early eightys I think 83 round to about 85,I ran the bar for quite a while but I think I was most famous, for my ***ual conquests and drinking , I remember everyone very well from that era, wonder what happenened to Tali,a young member, remember George very well, neville was vol leader and then Barb, lol wonder if Neville ever married Laura,Laura and Jane fun girls, and all the Aussie girls,Jan and Jenny, and anyone heared anything from Michelle Scaff, well when I left I was with a girl from Norway called Mari, that lasted a long time, but after that got back in touch with a girl I met with George from Ha,on,took her of Simon lol, hippy girl from South Africa, well we ended up getting married, and still together now, would love to hear from anyone Richard

Hello,
Very happy to come across your website. I was in TK between december 83 and february 85. I worked in the cow shed with Dielis, Simon,Horst,Renat,Itzik,Gili,Larry,Bary...
Went back twice in 87 and 90.
It was a great experience.
I see regularly George from Australia when he comes to France (See Mac's mail).
It was a great time.
If you know Istik Biran's email adress I'd love to have it. Same for Renat Levi.

Wow, glad I came across this site! I learned about kibbutzim through Leon Uris' books as a young girl and fell in love with the idea of this lifestyle. Always wished I could work and live on them. Recently met a Jewish man who plans to start a kibbutz here in the Western Cape region of South Africa. AM I excited??? I am now 48, but still have a passion for the Jewish people. BE BLESSED ALL!!!!

Ron 'Two Sheds Jackson' I remember you from my time on TK and even remember how you got the nickname! I nearly fell off my chair when I saw your message!! I worked with you in the bananas in 85-86 and also worked in the cowshed and eventually became the 'pool guy'. The parties, the trips, the great friendships are still fresh. I am still in touch with a couple of ex-members (Oren) and another fellow volunteer George (in Canberra). I'm from UK but have lived now in Oz for 10 years. All the best to all who remember me.
