With so many multimedia options available, the types of guest books out there are countless. So do a little research, think about the happy couple

Shalom! I spent two months at Kibbutz Tel Katzir around Pesach of 1971. It was a great place and left a huge impression on me. I remember hiking in the Golan Heights with the other volunteers. My nickname was "Edie" at the time. custom smiley

I was with the Sherut La'am youth group that lived on Ma'ayan Baruch 1966-1967. Leib Golan was our sponsor. I would like to hear from anyone at the kibbutz who remembers me. My sponsor "family" were named Saraleh and Shlomo. I remember Hannah and Amnon Shemesh. I worked in the toddler house with Adela. I was called Shoshana Langeh. Now I am a clinical psychologist. I have 1 daughter, 4 stepchildren, and 8 grandchildren. I loved the time I spent there and think of all of you often. custom smiley

Wow - I am coming to israel in a few weeks for the first time in over 20 years. I spent 6 months at Tel Katzir as part of the Habonim group in 1981. I cant remember names but worked in the avocadoes. Seems like a million years ago but we had the best time. Would love to try and pop in if I am in the area.

Hi everyone,

now it´s ten years since I left Israel and lovely Tel Katzir, I stayed from 25 january 1999 to june something 1999.
I remember so many things. For example working in bananas, the mad russian cook Alex, Montana the tree leged dog (RIP), Rex the banana dog (RIP), the tv-room bomb shelter, the barbwire, the great view of lake kinnaret, the scary mine excursions at gollan hights, that I was eating too many bananas, the disco at Tel Katzir and at other kibbutzes, the almost constant hang over, too much veggies, the bad stomach I got after eating that kebab in "sermach" (the village next to TK), the great national park Yehudiya where I did cliff jumping, the awsome trips to Jordan and Egypt, the bad rib I got after "the big fat russian guy" (don´t remember his name)squeezed me ;-(. The trips to Tiberias where they had McD... The bonfires, the too much drinking, working in 45 degrees. Stealing a traktor and parking it on the footballfield...
This great site just put me back 10 years, feels like I´m back at Tel Katzir standing in the "pots and pans" :-)
I don´t remember to many names of the kibbutzniks or other volonteers. I do remember Galit Paz, Alexis, Rowland (on the river), (ban)ane, Sprut-Inger (Brit), (M)agneta, Jonas, Thord, Fredrik Bourner, Björn Widlert, Nolan, Nolans norwegian girlfriend, Peggy (from DDR), "Miss Nike", Schnizel "the beheaded chicken" (sorry that´s an animal), vickie, Said, Morse (the volonteer leader) and all other lost souls I´ve forgot the names of. Please contact me!
You´ll find my ugly face if you search for "Stefan Holgersson" at facebook.
I´ll become daddy in september, so unfortunately I can not visit Tel Katzir for a while...
Cheers /Stefan
